Sunday 21st March
Cabinteely 1 PRFC 15B 4
Rangers extended their unbeaten run to 12,

but found themselves 1 down early on at Cabinteely and did not perform for the first 25 minutes.  All that changed after 27 minutes when a deep cross from the right flew across the goalmouth and Johnston stabbed it home at the back post for the equaliser.  The game turned on its head after 30 minutes when Cabinteely struck the post and from the rebound and scramble a Cabinteely forward was given the red card for violent conduct.  Then just on half time a deft touch from Dunnes put Glennon through on goal and the striker made no mistake.
The second half was one way traffic and following sustained pressure from Rangers a Cabinteely defender turned the ball into his own net.  Rangers really opened up at 3-1 and Aspil's superb volley brought a wonder save from the Cabinteely keeper.  Substitute Ryan Palmer smashed a shot off the crossbar.  Rangers closed out the game when a speedy break from Nolan put him one on one with the keeper and a well struck shot to the bottom corner gave Rangers a well-earned 4-1 win.

Under 8 Sunday - Lost 4-3 away to Cabinteely
Team - Keith Quinn, Aaron Dunne, Conor Larkin, Karl Moore, Adam Stuart, Jack Halpin and James Dempsey
Subs - Adam Brady, Dylan Ellis, Mark Dietz and Aaron Dempsey
Goalscorers - Jack Halpin (2) & Mark Dietz

A battling performance by Rangers was not sufficient to secure a point against the unbeaten Cabinteely.  Cabinteely enjoyed the early possession and forced a couple of good saves from Rangers keeper Keith.  There were few opportunities for striker James.  Then Rangers midfield trio of Adam Stuart, Jack and Karl began to get a grip of the game while defenders Conor and Aaron Dunne kept a tight ship at the back.  Rangers took the lead through a terrific lob from Jack but Cabinteely equalised just before the break with an equally good strike.  Poor concentration at the start of the second half saw Rangers concede three soft goals in the space of ten minutes.  A goal from Mark pulled Rangers back into the game.  Rangers midfield of Adam Brady, Aaron Dempsey and Dylan began to dominate the game again.  Another terrific strike from Jack gave Rangers hope but it was too late to rescue a point.
Under 17's Lost 2-1 at Malahide Utd
17s were narrowly beaten 2-1 by league leaders, Malahide Utd on Sunday. Rangers started well and could have went ahead early after a good break down the right. Rangers continued to creat chances but went behind after a fine headed goal by Malahide. Still trailing after the break, Rangers were somehow denied a definite penalty when Sean Nolan was taken down in the box. Rangers went 2 down while chasing the game. They pulled one back when Sean Nolan finished well after being put through by a good pass from Al Caul. Despite piling on the pressure in the last few minutes Rangers couldn't get an equalizer but still have plenty to play for in the league.
