Under 11's 2 Ballybrack Boys 4 & Under 13's Win at Dundrum

Ballybrack Boys 2 Under 12’s 2

The under 12’s had an excellent performance at Ballybrack but will be left wondering what might have been as a 2 goal lead slipped away.  Rangers had a superb first half performance and Ross Bolger struck the opener after he was put through by Sean Gibney.  The lads were flying now and the excellent Paul Datcu put in Nathan Merrigan for the second goal.  Chulainn Gavin worked tirelessly on the left wing and was unlucky to see his shot strike the post just before the break.
Ballybrack re-shuffled their pack at half time and came out strong.  They reduced the arrears and pushed hard for an equaliser.  Defenders Gary Creevy and Owen Petticrew provided excellent cover for keeper Sarah Jane who pulled off some great saves to keep the home team at bay.  Ballybrack got a lucky break when they equalised from what looked like a clear offside position.  Rangers hung on despite being reduced to 10 men in the closing stages due to injury.  A welcome and well deserved point

The lads had a great win and put in a solid performance.  Goals from Peter Cassidy, Glenn Doyle and Stephen Smyth capped off a good display.  A well taken goal from Peter sent Rangers on the way.  There followed a contender for goal of the season from Glenn who beat 5 players and rounded the goalkeeper for a superb effort.  A cool finish by Stephen wrapped up the scoring.  there was some outstanding displays from Rangers with Rob Eccles, Stefan Delaney, Ciaran Mulhare, Simon Wells prominent along with goalscorers Peter and Glenn and Stephen.
A good all round performance from Rangers who head in the right direction
