14B's win 9 goal thriller, 15B's remain unbeaten - Results and Reports as follows...

PRFC sat 10    off   drogheda
PRFC 7         n/a   sherriff

PRFC 8         2-2   lucan utd (Report)
Team - James Dempsey, Karl Moore, Aaron Dunne, Jack Halpin, Dylan Ellis, Aaron Dempsey & Evan Lynch
Subs - Adam Brady, Keith Quinn and Mark Dietz
Goalscorers Evan and Dylan
Man of the Match - Jack Halpin.

Rangers got off to a good start to the season with a credible 2-2 draw away to Lucan.  Rangers fell behind to a well struck shot mid-way through the first half but equalised with a great solo effort from Dylan.  Rangers conceded a sloppy goal late in the first half and could have been further behind at the break only for a brave tackle from Adam.  Rangers dominated the game after the break with tremendous work in midfield from Mark and man of the match Jack.  They were rewarded with an equaliser from Evan.  Good defending from the two Aarons, James and Karl meant the Rangers goal was hardly troubled in the second half.  Lucan did, however, get through on one occasion but were denied by a great save from Keith.

PRFC 15b       3-0   st francis
This was a solid performance from the home team and their unbeaten record never looked in doubt against the Saints.  The guys went 1-0 up at half time courtesy of a superb Lee Dunne header from Fitzgerald's corner.  Aspil and Madden came close to adding to the lead in the first period.  In the second half the under pressure Saints tired and Stephen Aspil scored a brace to seure the points.  Walsh and Corcoran also came close and the impressive McGrane walsh and Dowler bossed he game.  Nolan had a goal disallowed and Maguire hit the crossbar and Rangers threatened to extend their lead.  An excellent performance by all.

PRFC 17        2-4   bohemians

Rangers suffered their 2nd league defeat in row when beaten 4 2 by Bohemians on Sunday but it was a much better performance. Rangers went 1 up after 5 minutes when Sean Nolan scored after a good move involving Craig Brennan and Al Caul. Despite creating some more good chances with some fine passing, Rangers were punished by conceding 2 soft goals from corners. A long range shot from Christy O'Sullivan just before half time drew the sides level. Rangers played much better football in the 2nd half and should have went ahead but Sean Nolan hit the cross bar when through on goal. Bohs scored their 3rd goal on the break and then their 4th with 2 minutes to go when Rangers were pushing forward for an equalizer
