Wins for 14's Saturday and 15's & 17's Sunday.  No show frustration for 11's and 13's whilst the 12's get off to a poor start.  All our results as follows

Under 7 b    prfc   0 -7 sham rvs  Unlucky for the lads in their first ever game.  At least they won't have to face Gary Twigg each week, expect the lads to bounce back next week.
Under 8 c    prfc 1 - 1 bohs -Team - Jack Halpin, Conor Larkin, Karl Moore, Dylan Ellis, Mark Dietz, Evan Lynch & Keith Quinn
Subs - Adam Brady and Aaron Dunne
Goalscorer - Evan Lynch
Man of the Match - Conor Larkin
Comments - Good all round performance to break losing sequence.  Great second half display from Mark Dietz in goal.  Kept us in the game when we were 1-0 down.  Great defensive performance from Aaron, Karl and our man of the match Conor.  Dylan, Jack, Adam and Kieth in midfield worked tirelessly throughout while Evan Lynch was rewarded for a gutsy performance with his second half equaliser.

Under 9 c.1 prfc 1 - 6 portmarnock - First ever game for the Under 9's and they will find their feet.  Best of luck next time out
Under 10b sat   prfc 2 - 2 park celtic
Under 10 b sun  prfc 3 - 4 leicester

Under 15 a    prfc  1 - 2 tolka rvs  The Under 15A side opened their league campaign with a loss against Tolka Rovers on Sunday in a rain swept Mill Lane. Although how they didn't manage at least a share of the spoils is hard to believe given they had the lions share of the possession and scoring chances. They took the lead early on when Ian Kavanagh cooley lobbed the keeper after a fine through ball from Eoin Daly. Tolka equalised ten minutes later with a thunderous strike from 30 yards which flew passed the hapless Aaron Coen in the Rangers goal. They conceded what was to be the winner when Tolka were awarded a penalty just before half-time following an ill-timed challange. Rangers spurned at least half a dozen scoring chances in the second half and the Tolka keeper made two outstanding saves, one from Kavanagh and another from James Beggan from close range.

Under 17      prfc  4 - 0 stella - Well done to Noel and the lads - great start to the season.

Saturday 5th Results

Dissappointment for the Under 11's and 13's when their opponents did not turn up for their first fixtures, particulary for Bernard's Under 11's who were togged out and ready to play.  Good luck next week to the lads.

The Under 12's were beaten by a strong Ballybrack team,  Rangers did well to pull back a 2 goal deficit with an early goal in the 2nd half from Owen Petticrew.  However when pushing for the equaliser, Ballybrack broke for the crucial third goal.  Two late strikes put a gloss on the win but Ballybrack deserved their success.

John Corrigan & Paul Bore's Under 14's had and excellent 4-0 win over Confey for the ideal start.

Sunday 6th Results

Under 17 Report - Stella Maris 0 Palmerstown Rangers FC 4

The 17s continued their good start to the season with a convincing 4 nil win away to Stalla Maris. Despite heavy rain and a tight pitch, Rangers passed the ball really well and Stella couldn't match their movement. Al Caul got the first with a super finish after a mazy run, passing the ball into the far corner of the net. He followed up with a 2nd and his strike partner Brian, hit the 3rd before half time with a left foot drive that the Stella keeper couldn't hold. The 2nd half continued with 5 or 6 great saves from the Stella keeper, keeping the score respectable. Rangers finally got the 4th when the Stella keeper made another great save from Al Caul to deny him a hat trick but Ian Jackson Ryan followed up well to notch his 2nd goal in as may games.

Under 15B Report
Leicester celtic 1  Palmerstown Rangers 2
Both teams won their first league games last week, so something had to give.  Rangers looked very strong on the ball and the passing and movement was a credit to the team.  However they still came in one down at half-time.
For the majority of the second half the home team were penned in their own half.  On 50 mins aidan maguire came onto another cleared shot and smashed it home for a deserved equaliser.  Rangers continued this fierce pressure and eventually on 59 mins, man of the match christian nolan tormented the home team with his pace and whipped in a ball to sean johnston who then planted the ball low and hard past the keeper.  A well earned win for the Rangers lads.
