Sunday 16A1 Palmerstown FC 2-4 Booth Rd
The 16's suffered a defeat at Mill Lane as they failed to defend against a solid group of opponents. The teams looked well matched for the first 20 minutes but defensive frailties from the home side led to 3 quick-fire goals and the proverbial mountain to climb at the break.
The second half was an improvement with a lot of possession but all credit to the visitors who stood firm and got a 4th goal on a breakaway. Palmerstown's persistence was rightly rewarded with 2 goals (Scott and Paul) which came a little late to match the Sweden's recent comeback in Germany.

15B Cup Palmerstown FC 6-4 St John Bosco
A great win for Larry and Perry's lads as they came from 1-0 and 2-1 down to lead 3-2 at the break and go on to record an excellent win in the cup. Great all round team performance. The lads have a strong squad for this season and will look to go one better than last year and land some silverware.
16A1 Cup Palmerstown FC 1-3 Sacred Heart
this result didnt really reflect the effort and passion of the home team who deservedly took the lead after 20 minutes (Eamonn Walker) and conceded a sloppy equaliser before the break. The game changer arrived on 30 minutes when the lads were reduced to 10 men for dissent and although the lads battled bravely in the 2nd half the visitors broke for 2 goals for a scarcely merited win. Good signs that the lads are finding their feet at this level though.

Under 16 Result 7th April
Cabinteely 2-3 Palmerstown FC
The 2012/2013 season will be remembered as a non-event in junior soccer, with such a poor winter the fixtures have been decimated and most teams have struggled to get out of first gear. April promises better fare and Palmerstown 16's had their 2nd game of the year on a windy morning on the all-weather surface at Kilbogget Park Cabinteely.
The home team started strongly and created the early chances, but keeper Ross kept goal well and Palmerstown began to settle into an even-matched contest. The home team took the lead towards half time when Jack's mis-timed tackle resulted in a penalty which was dispatched to the corner. Just after half time Palmerstown introduced Scott to the action and his energy started to cause some problems , with a strong mid-field performance by Andy and Ryan the away team started to create chances and Chulainn put Scott through for a smart finish. Cabinteely were further rocked when Scott and Paul played a 1-2 for the former to finish neatly for the lead. Back came the home side to equalise with a neat header from a right wing cross. But chances continued to flow and Scott with the aid of great support from Dano bagged the hat-trick for the win. There was a final goal-mouth scramble as Cabinteely pushed for the equaliser and Jack had to make a superb clearance to save the day. A super win for the U 16 in what has been a difficult season at A Level, here's hoping for a good finish.

Under 16 Match report
Celbridge 2-7 Palmerstown FC
The under 16's produced a solid performance at Celbridge on Sunday to move up the table following back to back wins. The lads got off to a flyer when Paul netted two early goals. Although Celibridge pulled 2 goals back Paul scored 2 more to leave the score at 4-2 at the break.
When Chulainn scored number 5 early in the second half the points were secure and further goals from Andy and Scott rewarded the lads for their 2nd half dominance. Credit goes to the back four who kept a tight defence and to stand in keeper Mark Scully who put the gloss on a solid performance with a late penalty save.

Sunday U16A1 Palmerstown FC 4-0 Celbridge Town
The foundation for this result was built around a solid first half performance as Palmerstown settled well in the poor conditions to build a 3-0 lead. Chulainn broke the deadlock and Darren's excellent free-kick broke the Celbridge resistance as Paul rowed in with a third goal to put the result beyond the visitors. A spirited second half performance kept the home defence on its toes and Darren sealed the deal with a neat right foot finish. A good result for the home team to follow up a strong performance in the cup last week.
Sunday U17Major 4 Palmerstown FC 4-4 Esker Celtic
The proverbial game of two halves as Palmerstown overcame a 4-0 half time deficit to level affairs and then almost snatch a dramatic winner. Local rivals Esker were ruthless in the first half as they converted 4 of a total of 5 chances to leave the home team shell-shocked. Manager Martin has been seen it all and a couple of good substitutions at half time gave the lads the incentive to have a go. Once the first goal arrived the visitors didnt look the same team and Palmerstown clawed back the lead. A share of the spoils was probably the fairest result in the end.
